What Our Customers Say About Us
"My husband and I are so thankful for Bree and her expertise with training our goldendoodle puppy. She was very knowledgeable and taught us the basics of training with also specifically addressing the issues we were having with jumping, counter surfing, crate training and picky eating. She gave us feedback on the nuances of our tone, posture, holding the leash ect. and it made all the difference with how our puppy responds. We really enjoyed working with her and we have seen so much progress with our puppy! He recently did an amazing job in his first group class! We highly recommend Bree and Say It Once Dog Training!"

We were about ready to take our 4 year old male pitt/lab dog, Ace, back to the shelter because of his bad behavior. Several big life changes – a wedding and a new baby, didn’t leave us with much time for him, let alone training him. We had heard good things about SIO so we decided this would be the last thing we could try. Little did we know how lucky we would be to get Michelle as our trainer! She came in and taught us how to “work” our dog. That a good dog is a tired dog, both physically and mentally. She is a gentle and patient, yet hilarious teacher. She understands that you and your dog are both just learning and trying your best so some mistakes may happen, but just keep going and keep showing up. She is always sure to make sure you know the “why” behind what you are training. I love this because it definitely makes things click for me, and our dog (clicker training, anyone?). Now we have a much better behaved dog. It’s actually nice to have him around and part of our family, all thanks to Michelle!
I contacted Say It Once after I adopted a one year old Australian Shepherd. I was at my end on what to do with him, he was unpredictable with guests in my house and on a leash. He was so incredibly reactive. Michelle came and things immediately changed. If you have a dog, YOU NEED THIS! After just a month of training, we can now calmly and safe walk past other dogs, people, and vehicles outside. Inside, he is learning how to manage with guests and what was expected of him. Michelle was so supportive in my learning and was extremely responsive to all messages. We just recently started attending group classes and they have been so helpful in supportive and structured socialization, I love them! I can't say enough positive things about this company and my experience. Call them!!

We want you to know the WHAT, HOW, and WHY.
We've been training dogs since 2012, and with other 700 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review we know that The only difference between a well behaved dog and a dog that has these behavioral issues, is a knowledgeable owner, and that is where we come in. We bridge the gap between dog and owner.
SIODT works not just with your dog, but with the whole family. We will teach you how to properly meet your dog's needs, thus creating an environment that your dog will be well behaved, and extremely enjoyable to be around!
Our approach is a common sense, balanced training method. Our trainers break everything down to its simplest form so your dog can understand what we want from them immediately. Dogs, by nature, are a pack animal, and being such they are begging for leadership and pack cohesiveness.

First, I want to say that Michelle is so awesome, and we are so grateful! I'll admit, I was a little nervous about using Say It Once. I had always heard phenomenal things, but the cost made me blink my eyes a couple of times. I have a little chihuahua/rat terrier mix, and in all the research I've done looking for trainers, it was rare to see a little dog. Mostly I saw bigger breeds. Chihuahuas are notoriously stubborn, and I worried that he just wasn't going to learn anything. Enzo isn't bad, just has some anxiety and housebreaking issues. However, I wasn't learning anything on my own, and the group classes from the animal shelter were hard for us to attend due to Enzo's anxiety and fear of pretty much everything. So, I called and got on the waitlist. It took about a month for Say It Once to get us on the schedule, which I thought wasn't bad for an in-demand, in-house training session. Michelle came over, and started working with us right away! She confirmed that Enzo isn't a bad dog, and helped me work through some of his behaviors. She gave us some rules to follow that would help Enzo with his resource guarding behaviors and housebreaking issues. I really appreciated that she worked with Enzo and I to find what works for us, rather than some cookie-cutter version of dog training. Enzo is probably never going to be the best trained dog, and he still hates touching his butt to the ground in a recognizable "sit" but he's walking better, he's eating better, he has fewer accidents in the house. For a scared little dog, he's turned into quite a confident little man, and we are so grateful to Michelle for helping us make that happen!

Bree M. Is our trainer and I cannot say enough good about her approach with her clients. Our family welcomed a Great Dane puppy into our home a few months back. As new dog owners with limited experience Bree has been awesome about helping us correct mistakes and implement new training for our pup. I am most appreciative that Bree never comes across condescending when coaching or correcting something. Our home is so much calmer now that our pup has had a few sessions and that we have been consistently training with the new tools taught by Say It Once. Very satisfied with our experience!!

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, Value
Donna is absolutely AMAZING! I have a pup with some genetic resource guarding challenges. She has equipped me with so many training strategies to mitigate this difficulty, in addition to providing me with other tools to improve different behaviors. My little guy has come such a long way and is learning more and more everyday. Training him is so much fun - thanks to Say It Once!
I also had the opportunity to work with the rest of the team. They are innovative in their approaches to dog training. Every member of the team thoroughly explains their methods to ensure carryover after the sessions conclude. I am very pleased with my experiences with this organization, and so is Mac!

Before we even had our pup, I told my husband that if we ever got a dog we would be using Say It Once to train him/her after watching lots of their videos on the internet. Fast forward 6 months and we’ve now had 3 in home training sessions with trainer Travis and our 5 month old Siberian Husky/Golden Retriever mix, Sierra, is easily the best behaved dog either of us have ever had. Travis is awesome with her, extremely patient, and thorough in making sure we have the tools and confidence to train her on our own. I appreciate their thoughtful approach and explanations as to why we train in a certain way. I have yet to ask Travis a question that he doesn’t have a logical answer to. I’m looking forward to many years of trips, outings, and backpacking adventures with Sierra knowing that we’ve been taught and trained well thanks to Travis and Say It Once!

My frenchie Paris and I have done our first 2 sessions with Michelle and it has been transforming!! I couldn’t be happier with the progress my dog has made. Michelle and Say It Once trainers instantly tap into your dogs psychology and help you as the owner do the same. I stayed consistent with my dog after the first session and by session 2 we were able to work on even more techniques that make for a happy and calm dog. If you are frustrated/overwhelmed/tired/hopeless/not sure what to do about your training, make this investment in your dog with Say It Once! Michelle has been fantastic to work with and we can’t wait to get more of her expertise at our next session.
